Angie L. Ayers | Business Analyst, Tax Professional, Office Manager | MCW Tax & Business Services

A successful and trustworthy tax professional, Angie L. Ayers recalls she always had an affinity for numbers and mathematics. At the age of 18, she first learned how to do her mother’s tax return and by the time she was 20, she was assisting friends and family with their returns. With her knowledge accompanied by several small jobs in bookkeeping, she sought a career in the business world and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbus State University. She attributes her success today to her attention to detail and to her passion for helping others.

At the beginning of her professional work, Ms. Ayers gained experience with a credit card processing company for 19 years and with H&R Block as a tax consultant from 2020 to 2021, where she was recognized for accumulating the most revenue at her H&R Block location. She also received recognition as a top producer and high-revenue producer. Currently, Ms. Ayers excels as a business analyst, tax professional and officer manager for MCW Tax & Business Services in Columbus, Georgia, a role she has held since 2017. An expert in both finance and taxation, she specializes in accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services, in addition to individual, corporate and nonprofit tax preparation, as well as small business development.

Actively involved in her community, Ms. Ayers is a founding member of the Columbus Women for Good, which was recently featured in an edition of a local publication called Grapevine. She has also become very devoted to her church, serving in various roles such as administrator and outreach volunteer, in which she distributes lunches three times per week to the less fortunate children of the community, along with school supplies and other necessities. Additionally, Ms. Ayers volunteers with a local group visiting local schools and teaching elementary students financial literacy. She also collaborates with an area bank and educates the same students on how to make sound financial decisions and save.
